アーケード版は後に、北米および欧州ではPlayStation Portable用ソフト『Capcom Classics Collection Remixed』（2006年）、PlayStation 2およびXbox用ソフト『Capcom Classics Collection Vol.2』（2006年）に収録された他、Xbox 360、PlayStation 3用ソフト『Final Fight: Double Impact』として『ファイナルファイト』とのカップリングにて配信された。その他、2011年にはiOS用ソフトとしてカプコンアーケードにて配信された。
アーケード版はゲーム誌『ゲーメスト』の企画「第4回ゲーメスト大賞」（1990年度）において、大賞4位、ベストアクション賞2位、ベスト演出賞8位、ベストグラフィック賞2位を獲得した他、ゲーメストムック『ザ・ベストゲーム』（1991年）では第49位を獲得した。
