source: wikipedia_ja『R-TYPE Δ』（アール・タイプ デルタ）は、1998年11月19日にアイレムソフトウェアエンジニアリングから発売された、PlayStation用シューティングゲーム。 ゲーム事業から撤退したアイレム株式会社（旧アイレム、現アピエス）からゲーム事業の版権を譲渡されてから制作された、R-TYPEシリーズの一つである。 2007年2月22日からゲームアーカイブス対応ソフトとしてPSP用にダウンロード販売が開始された（同年5月31日からはPlayStation 3にも対応）が、2011年8月11日で販売終了となった。 2025年11月20日には、シティコネクションよりHDリマスター版『R-Type Delta: HD Boosted』（アールタイプデルタ エイチディーブーステッド）が発売。
