The game is set in Neo-Tokyo in the 23rd Century and features a teenage girl Yuna who not only wins a singing contest to become an idol, but is granted a new super suit to protect her battles against the Queen of Darkness and her army of minions. On its release, it received middling scores in Famicom Tsūshin and better scores in Gekkan PC Engine . The game received spawned the Galaxy Fräulein Yuna franchise which included sequels, ports, and two anime miniseries.
