A similar game with improved graphics titled Final Match Tennis Ladies was included in Human Sports Festival, a sports compilation that contains three previously unreleased titles. Two standalone follow-ups were also released, 1994's Super Final Match Tennis for the Super Famicom and the 1996 PlayStation title Hyper Final Match Tennis.

Permette di giocare il singolare o il doppio maschile. Una variante femminile, Final Match Tennis Ladies, per il resto sostanzialmente invariata, uscì nella raccolta sportiva Human Sports Festival (1992) per PC Engine con unità CD-ROM. Negli anni successivi Human ha prodotto due seguiti per console differenti, con minore successo: Super Final Match Tennis per Super Famicom e Hyper Final Match Tennis per PlayStation.
