「エナジー」は横スクロールシューティングゲームです。プレイヤーは若いヒーローを操作し、エネルギーボールを発射したりジャンプしたりできます。エネルギー攻撃を行うとESPバーが減少し、徐々に回復します。ヒーローのライフバーは、敵が時々落とす回復ポーションでしか回復できません。また、少年はアイテムを集めることで、ESP攻撃の特性を変えたり、攻撃を次のレベルにアップグレードしたりすることができます。
