It is the sequel to Hotel Dusk: Room 215, starring protagonist Kyle Hyde, and takes place one year after those events. Set in 1980 Los Angeles, the Cape West Apartments, the story deals with a new mystery in a new location, but it also delves into some unanswered questions from Kyle Hyde's past. Last Window was the last game developed by Cing before the company filed for bankruptcy on 1 March 2010. Unlike its predecessor, it was never released in North America. A spiritual successor entitled Chase: Cold Case Investigations – Distant Memories developed by Arc System Works was released in 2016 with many former developers of Cing working on the game.

"Last Window: La Promesse de minuit") est un jeu vidéo d'aventure en pointer-et-cliquer sorti en 2010. Le jeu a été développé par Cing et édité par Nintendo. Ce jeu est la suite de Hotel Dusk: Room 215 et se déroule un an après les évènements du premier opus. Ce titre reprend les graphismes et les effets sonores du premier jeu. Dans ce titre, le héros Kyle Hyde se retrouve dans la résidence Cape West à Los Angeles qui est sur le point d'être démolie, il devra y retrouver des indices sur la mort de son père, décédé 25 ans auparavant.

Es ist der Nachfolger des Spiels Hotel Dusk: Room 215 und erschien 2010. Last Window wurde nicht in Nordamerika veröffentlicht. Stilistisch gleicht es seinem Vorgänger. Der Held ist wieder Kyle Hyde, der im Jahr 1980 in den Cape-West-Apartments in Los Angeles lebt. Die Geschichte ist vollkommen eigenständig, obwohl sie einige Verbindungen zum ersten Teil aufweist. Ziel des Spiels ist es, ein Geheimnis, das sich um den Tod von Kyles Vater rankt, zu lüften.

La storia si svolge un anno dopo il primo capitolo, Hotel Dusk: Room 215. Pur narrando una vicenda separata, in Last Window sono comunque presenti alcuni riferimenti a essa. Inoltre, come il precedente titolo della Cing, Another Code: R - Viaggio al confine della memoria, questo videogioco non è stato pubblicato in Nord America. In un video making of, il direttore Taisuke Kanasaki mostra e spiega come è stata realizzata l'animazione in rotoscopio. La storia, ambientata in un condominio di Los Angeles, si dipana nell'arco di una settimana, dal 18 al 26 dicembre 1980. L'ex detective Kyle Hyde finirà coinvolto in una ricerca che farà luce sul proprio passato e su quello degli altri inquilini, venendo a conoscenza di una verità di cui non immagina l'importanza.
