source: wikipedia_enClayFighter is a fighting game released for the Super NES in November 1993 and ported to Sega Genesis in 1994. The game is a parody of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. In 2009, the Genesis version was re-released on the Wii Virtual Console. Most of the game features a circus theme focused more on humor. It features claymation-style graphics that were created by photographing and digitizing actual clay models. The game was one of the two clay-themed game franchises published by Interplay Productions, the second being a platformer released for the SNES titled Claymates. In July 2020, Megalopolis Toys made a partnership with Interplay to release a line of 6-inch action figures based on the games.

O jogo possui um tema de circo, focado mais no humor do que em um jogo sério. O jogo é composto por animações chamadas Claymations, feitas com modelos de argila fotografados e digitalizados, daí dando origem ao nome do jogo. Essa foi uma das duas franquias da Interplay com o tema "argila", sendo a segunda um jogo de plataforma chamado Claymates.
