source: wikipedia_enPower Pro Kun Pocket (パワプロクンポケット), sometimes simply called Pawapoke or Power Pocket (パワポケ), is a spin-off of the Power Pros series of baseball games developed by Baseball Contents Production. The series was released only on the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Switch. Originally, the game was planned to link the story with the Success Mode storyline in the main (Power Pros) series, but the series now departs from the world of Power Pros and forms independent storylines. Since the 8th iteration, Konami used Baseball variety instead of Sport/Simulation as a game genre. Instead of baseball, the portion in Success Mode was much larger than the main series.

source: wikipedia_ja『パワプロクンポケット』は、1999年4月1日に日本のコナミ（現・コナミデジタルエンタテインメント）から発売されたゲームボーイカラー用スポーツゲーム。ゲームボーイにも対応しており両対応ソフトとなっている。 同社による『パワプロクンポケットシリーズ』の第1作目。先輩部員の悪行によって落ちぶれた野球部を立て直すために選手を集めて育成する事を目的としている。『実況パワフルプロ野球シリーズ』の選手育成モードである｢サクセスモード｣を手軽に楽しめるように制作された作品であり、全体的に育成シミュレーションゲームに近い作りとなっている。なお、開発当時の仮タイトルは『パワフルプロ野球ポケットサクセス外伝』であった。 後に続編となるゲームボーイ用ソフト『パワプロクンポケット2』（2000年）が発売され、以後シリーズ化された。また、第1作目と2作目のリメイク版を収録したゲームボーイアドバンス用ソフト『パワプロクンポケット1・2』（2004年）が発売された。さらに2021年11月25日にNintendo Switchで『パワプロクンポケット1・2』のリメイク版である『パワプロクンポケットR』（2021年）が発売された。
