The game is a western spinoff of The Money Game series. The player must prove the stockbroker's worth by taking $500,000 in seed money and growing it to $1,000,000 in order to gain a six-hundred-billion-dollar inheritance (equal to $1479 billion today) from the extremely wealthy Benedict family. Successfully investing it in the American stock market results in rewards like going shopping on the weekend and being able to acquire expensive items such as a house. The names of the companies listed in the stock market are slight variants on actual U.S. companies in operation at the time of the game's release. The player is also encouraged to spoil the stockbroker's girlfriend. The game ends if the player is unable to raise the money needed for a key item such as a boat or the house, causing the stockbroker to be disowned by the family.

source: wikipedia_ja『ザ・マネーゲームⅡ 兜町の奇跡』（ザ マネーゲーム ツー かぶとちょうのきせき）は、1989年12月20日に日本のソフエルから発売されたファミリーコンピュータ用経営シミュレーションゲーム。北米では『Wall Street Kid』のタイトルで発売された。 同社による『ザ・マネーゲーム』（1988年）の続編。主人公である「みなせ」を操作し、大富豪であるベネディクト家から6000億ドル相続金を入手する事を目的としている。 開発はソフエルが行い、脚本は後にスーパーファミコン用ソフト『拳闘王ワールドチャンピオン』（1992年）を手掛けた松沢博、原画は漫画『名探偵コナン 特別編』（1994年 - ）を手掛けた漫画家の山㟁栄一が担当している。また北米版の音楽はディスクシステム用ソフト『ココナワールド』（1987年）を手掛けた村井俊夫が担当している。
