source: wikipedia_enSuper Dodge Ball is a sports video game developed and published by Technōs Japan that was for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989. It is loosely based on the 1987 arcade game of the same name, which was also developed by Technōs. Like its arcade counterpart, it was released in Japan as part of the Kunio-kun series.
In Japan, a PC port of the Famicom version of Nekketsu Kōkō Dodgeball Bu was released on October 17, 2003, as a budget-priced release. It was also included in the Game Boy Advance compilation Kunio-kun Nekketsu Collection 1, released in 2005. Both the Famicom version and the American NES version were released for the Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Virtual Console for their respective territories. The game was also released in Europe for the two latter systems, despite the NES version not being released in Europe.

2003年には、メディアカイトより、『ウルトラシリーズ』としてWindows版が発売されている。これはファミリーコンピュータ版の完全移植版であるが、ゲームバランス設定機能が追加されている。
2008年6月17日よりWiiのバーチャルコンソールで、2013年3月6日よりニンテンドー3DSのコンソールで、2013年12月18日よりWii Uのバーチャルコンソールで配信が開始された。また、Nintendo Switchのサービスファミリーコンピュータ Nintendo Classicsでは2018年10月10日より配信されている。
2016年12月8日に発売された『くにおくん熱血コンプリート ファミコン編』の、また2010年12月20日に発売された『くにおくん ザ・ワールド〜クラシックスコレクション〜』に含まれているソフトの一つである。また、『くにおくん ザ・ワールド〜クラシックスコッシーコレクション〜』には、ファミコン版『Ball』（海外版『熱血高校ドッジボール部』）も収録されている。
