Versions for the Sega CD and Sega Genesis were released later on, with the latter version renaming the game Sol-Deace. The player takes control of the titular starship as it must prevent a malfunctioning supercomputer from enslaving all of mankind. Gameplay involves shooting down enemies and avoiding projectiles, while collecting power capsules to increase the Sol-Feace's abilities. The Sol-Feace also has dual cannons that can fire shots diagonally.\nThe game's soundtrack was composed by Motoi Sakuraba, who would later work on the Tales series for Namco. Alongside Micronet's Heavy Nova, it was also one of the first launch titles for Sega CD in Japan, and was made as the console pack-in game in North America. Sol-Feace was met with mixed reviews from critics, who praised its fast-paced action, graphics and soundtrack but criticized its lack of originality and subpar quality compared to other similar games on the market. Sunsoft owns the rights to Sol-Feace after their acquisition of Telenet Japan's intellectual properties in 2009.","lang":"en","source":"wikipedia_en"},{"text":"『Sol-Feace』は、Wolf Teamが開発し、Telenet JapanがX68000向けに発売した、1990年の横スクロールシューティングビデオゲームである。後にセガCDおよびセガジェネシス向けのバージョンがリリースされ、後者ではゲーム名が『Sol-Deace』に改名された。プレイヤーは、タイトル名の宇宙船を操作し、誤作動したスーパーコンピューターが人類全体を奴隷化するのを阻止するという目的を果たす。ゲームプレイは、敵を撃墜し、飛来する弾幕を避けながら、パワーカプセルを収集して『Sol-Feace』の能力を向上させるというものだ。『Sol-Feace』はまた、斜め方向にショットを発射できるデュアルキャノンを搭載している。\n\n本作のサウンドトラックは、後にナムコの『テイルズ』シリーズを手掛けることとなる桜庭統氏によって作曲された。また、『Micronet』の『Heavy Nova』と並び、日本におけるセガCDの初期ローンチタイトルの一つであり、北米ではコンソールパックに同梱されたゲームとして制作された。批評家からは、そのテンポの良いアクション、グラフィック、サウンドトラックが高く評価される一方で、独創性の欠如や、市場に出回っていた他の類似ゲームと比較して品質が劣るという批判も寄せられ、『Sol-Feace』は賛否両論の評価となった。Sunsoftは、2009年にTelenet Japanの知的財産権を取得したことにより、『Sol-Feace』の権利を所有している。","lang":"ja","source":"ai_local_gemma4","base_lang":"en"}]}
